Inland Shipping

The banks of the Meuse, North and the Merwede are the natural habitat of inland navigation. In-depth knowledge about water transport has been developed here. A unique inland navigation cluster is active in passenger transport, container, bulk and tank cargo. In addition to the many inland waterway operators with their own ships, the region also has a strong cluster around the construction of inland vessels, technical components and intermediaries.
